Where do I begin with this wedding? I met Harry and Hayley for coffee and we instantly connected and when it came to their wedding day which happened to be the same day as the royal wedding, it just felt easy. Their wedding took place at the stunning Whitsand Bay Fort in Cornwall and because the weather was so fabulous, the ceremony took place outside in the pagoda overlooking the cornish sea.
The day started very relaxed, it was nice to be able to see the bride and groom both before the ceremony both being close together! Hayley had a stunning dress from Wed2b in Exeter which actually had two looks which I absolutely loved, talk about making the most out of a dress! Their flowers were absolutely beautiful and I have never seen so many beautiful buttonholes ever…The weather was amazing all day, we had yet another beautiful cornish sunset to take some pictures and these two felt and looked like royalty all day.
Thank you both for letting me part of your amazing wedding day, I wish you both happiness in your future together!

Meet Harriett and Ben a couple from the midlands who have made the best decision to get married in Cornwall in the stunning St Ives. They picked the best weekend to visit to finalise wedding preparations as the heatwave has currently hit the country and St Ives looks just like paradise, perfect for a photographs! These two who were a bit apprehensive of the little photoshoot but soon got into the flow as I encouraged them to just be themselves, they left me the sweetest little message afterwards saying ‘Thanks for making Ben and I feel so comfortable!’.
Ben and Harriett, it was a pleasure to get to know you better and I look forward to the wedding in September!
I met this two after finding their advert in Plymouth College of Art and was so happy they decided to ask me to capture their beautiful wedding day in Tavistock. The weather had been a little unpredictable in the run up but the sun managed to stay out for most of the day. They were married in the epic St Eustachius Church which followed into a reception at the Town Hall. For my first Tavistock wedding, I was not disappointed the town has the most amazing buildings which really shows the character of this little town.
With ice creams, bow ties, two wedding dresses and a beautiful couple sunset shoot on the moors, Esther and Tariq, it has been an absolute pleasure to have met you both.
Here are some memories from your perfect little town wedding…

I can only begin to express how I feel about 2017 after the most epic year, from my very first couples to the last couples I feel truly blessed to be a wedding photographer. A career choice did not come easy to me and it was exactly this time last year that photography just clicked in my life. I made a new years resolution of trying to become not only known for my photography but establish myself as a wedding photographer and for my style, and for once I can say yes! I actually stuck to a new years resolution and everything came true and more…
Thank you for all the support from my family, friends, so many people in the industry who have given me the courage to keep going and to my partner who despite everything has stuck by me continually pushing me further. And lastly to all my beautiful couples whose amazing weddings I have captured this year, to all the couples who have booked me for 2018, I am so excited for this year ahead it is going to be busy and amazing I can feel it!
So here is a toast to my 2017 couples and some of my favourites snaps from the year….
I am so incredibly proud and excited to share that I am a finalist in the South West Wedding Awards as a ‘New Wedding Business’, this is an amazing opportunity for so many local business’ to just get their names out there and hopefully network and collaborate on future projects.
I feel I have come a long way in such a short space of time and to even just being in the finals is such an incredible feeling that I did not think I would have a year ago, I love my camera, I love my job, I love the weddings and I love the people….best job in the world!
I have had a brilliant year meeting so many new faces so this feels like an amazing end to 2017, and best of all we get to dress up and look fabulous for the award night in January 2018! I will keep you posted…
I have had a wonderful wedding season this year with my own weddings and second shooting/assisting some amazing and talented photographers and now that wedding season has finally finished for me I knew that I needed to start styling my own shoots again. I am excited to share with you this collaboration of some of the most kindest, beautiful local suppliers who continue to amaze and inspire me, I feel very lucky to work with such a fantastic team.
‘Feathers and Pine’ is an autumn themed elegant but earthy bridal shoot juxtaposed by the real working farm that it is set in which just really worked for my style. Mixed with browns tones, feathers, lace and pink flowers with the light being just perfect we had a really wonderful day.
Thank you all for your amazing work, until our next one!

I met this sweet couple for a coffee over the summer and we discussed their beautiful church wedding in Wembury and what I could offer them in the ways of telling their wedding story. We clicked straight away and decided to meet up on a sunny day for a little pre-wedding shoot at their beautiful wedding location and took some stunning pictures in one of the sweetest rocky beaches in our local area. Please visit if you haven’t already as the views are just stunning at any time of the year…
Here are the results from our little shoot, I look forward to your wedding next year guys!
