Where do I begin with this wedding? I met Harry and Hayley for coffee and we instantly connected and when it came to their wedding day which happened to be the same day as the royal wedding, it just felt easy. Their wedding took place at the stunning Whitsand Bay Fort in Cornwall and because the weather was so fabulous, the ceremony took place outside in the pagoda overlooking the cornish sea.
The day started very relaxed, it was nice to be able to see the bride and groom both before the ceremony both being close together! Hayley had a stunning dress from Wed2b in Exeter which actually had two looks which I absolutely loved, talk about making the most out of a dress! Their flowers were absolutely beautiful and I have never seen so many beautiful buttonholes ever…The weather was amazing all day, we had yet another beautiful cornish sunset to take some pictures and these two felt and looked like royalty all day.
Thank you both for letting me part of your amazing wedding day, I wish you both happiness in your future together!

This was my first wedding at Kingston Estate and I fell in love with it straight away. This venue is insanely beautiful, it has the most beautiful gardens and just check out their white bridal suite. I was in heaven!
Alex and Laura had their wedding in a sweet little church down the road and came back for their reception with champagne and canapes in the courtyard, the sun was shining and there was so many adorable children. Laura eventually had them all blowing bubbles around her which made some cute pictures. After dinner and the speeches there was a good opportunity to whisk the couple to enjoy the gardens nearing sunset, which is just my favourite part of a wedding.
A truly memorable day, congratulations Laura and Alex. I cannot wait to return to this beautiful venue!

Weddings in Cornwall are beautiful and this wedding was just a photographer’s dream. As much as I love the cornish sea air and the beautiful landscapes, getting to spend my day with Laura and Baz celebrating their marriage was just the best.
I started my morning with Laura and all the ladies at her father’s home, it was super chilled with all the bridal party and hair and makeup team chatting away like a bunch of old friends. I eventually whipped down the road to say hello to Baz before heading off to their reception at the quaint Rose in Vale which just had the most beautiful building and gardens. It was a small intimate ceremony for just close family and friends and then onto their blessing with the rest of the guests which was located in a field just down the road from the house. We managed to take a detour to Wheal Coates before the blessing so we could take some images against that epic cornish backdrop, it looks like a painting just look at those colours! The reception was full of laughter, handpicked wines, olives, children making dens with the haybales and I can honestly say this will be the one and only time an image of mine will be on a beer tap, see if you can spot it! And to top it off we were super lucky to have a beautiful cornish sunset to end this beautiful wedding day.
To Baz and Laura, thank you for letting me be part of your day I wish you all the best in your adventures.

I met this two after finding their advert in Plymouth College of Art and was so happy they decided to ask me to capture their beautiful wedding day in Tavistock. The weather had been a little unpredictable in the run up but the sun managed to stay out for most of the day. They were married in the epic St Eustachius Church which followed into a reception at the Town Hall. For my first Tavistock wedding, I was not disappointed the town has the most amazing buildings which really shows the character of this little town.
With ice creams, bow ties, two wedding dresses and a beautiful couple sunset shoot on the moors, Esther and Tariq, it has been an absolute pleasure to have met you both.
Here are some memories from your perfect little town wedding…

I met these two on a chilly winter evening at the stunning Perranporth Beach ready to go with thick coats and hats; these guys are no strangers to the elements and we discussed various trips all over the world they had been and plan to go on in the future. The sunset could not have been more beautiful that day, faded pink and blue skies mixed with the vast beach and stormy waters it gave quite an ethereal atmosphere, perfect for photography. We also spotted various creatures of which I thought at first were jellyfish, which Baz told me are called Portuguese man of war!
Laura and Baz are one of my first weddings of the year so really looking forward to seeing them again in a completely different atmosphere! Until then…here at the beautiful outdoorsy couple…
I can only begin to express how I feel about 2017 after the most epic year, from my very first couples to the last couples I feel truly blessed to be a wedding photographer. A career choice did not come easy to me and it was exactly this time last year that photography just clicked in my life. I made a new years resolution of trying to become not only known for my photography but establish myself as a wedding photographer and for my style, and for once I can say yes! I actually stuck to a new years resolution and everything came true and more…
Thank you for all the support from my family, friends, so many people in the industry who have given me the courage to keep going and to my partner who despite everything has stuck by me continually pushing me further. And lastly to all my beautiful couples whose amazing weddings I have captured this year, to all the couples who have booked me for 2018, I am so excited for this year ahead it is going to be busy and amazing I can feel it!
So here is a toast to my 2017 couples and some of my favourites snaps from the year….
I met Kayleigh and Jack at the beginning of the year when I decided wedding photography was definately for me but I had no couple images to share with my future clients. Luckily there were four couples that believed in my small portfolio and helped kick start my imagery and these guys were one of those couples, they hold a special place in my photography heart.
Almost a year later they have booked me for their wedding and I could not be more honoured to capture their beautiful day. I still can’t quite believe it when couples want to book me because of my natural style and I was just so excited to get out with this couple again after learning so much more techinally and compositionally!
Here is the gorgeous Kayleigh and Jack at sunset at the beautiful devon reservoir Burrator, if you haven’t been its definately worth a visit!
