FEATHERS AND PINE

editorial

BLOG-40

I have had a wonderful wedding season this year with my own weddings and second shooting/assisting some amazing and talented photographers and now that wedding season has finally finished for me I knew that I needed to start styling my own shoots again. I am excited to share with you this collaboration of some of the most kindest, beautiful local suppliers who continue to amaze and inspire me, I feel very lucky to work with such a fantastic team.

‘Feathers and Pine’ is an autumn themed elegant but earthy bridal shoot juxtaposed by the real working farm that it is set in which just really worked for my style. Mixed with browns tones, feathers, lace and pink flowers with the light being just perfect we had a really wonderful day.

Thank you all for your amazing work, until our next one!

Met the beautiful Millie at the weekend for a shoot, really getting to grips with natural light night time shooting and getting them really sharp 😊

Got a really good set of images, more to come from this shoot! ✨

So I have had a lot of fun doing my lights portraits and although I won’t be stopping I will be developing this concept pushing away from just the upper body shots that I’m oh so comfortable with and looking to get more creative….frustratingly I have had quite a few shoots recently but paid work is taken priority and I’m desperate to share some of my new work with you all!

Until then…. here is a beautiful image of the lovely Klaudia whom I met up with last week, just to discover her sister was actually a friend of mine and I was completely oblivious!
Thanks for the wonderful shoot…we’ll be going out again soon! ✨

So I haven’t been able to edit for a few days due to my laptop completely dying on me but I managed to do an edit this evening of the beautiful Zoe.

I have recently finished a photography course with The Shaw Academy that has helped me develop my technical skills, this has been great but also frustrating looking back at my images knowing what I could have done better!

Looking forward to developing this lights concept now I know my camera better ✨

Met the lovely Libby for a shoot around Plymouth the other day, I spotted these lights in the Big Pine and Oak Store and had to see if using them as a backdrop would work….happy to say with a beautiful model, yes it did….so beautiful! Thanks Libby ✨
